Type 63 California Liquor License:

On-Sale Beer and Wine for Hospital

A Type 63 California Liquor License is designated for a hospital, convalescent home, or a rest home that is looking to provide alcoholic beverages at meal times to its residents and their guests.

This license is unique in the fact that the the establishment must serve 1-3 meals per day for its residents and a “rest home” must rent exclusively to individuals who are age 62 or over.
